Account Deletion Policy

Nviron respects your right to control your personal data. This policy explains how to delete your account and what happens to your data.

1. HOW TO REQUEST ACCOUNT DELETION

You can request deletion directly within the app at any time:

  1. Open Nviron
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Tap "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm your request

No external contact or email is required. The request is submitted instantly from within the app.

2. WHAT IS DELETED

Within 48 hours of your deletion request, the following will be permanently removed:

  • Your profile (name, city, bio, interests, social media links)
  • Your profile photo from Firebase Storage
  • Your Firebase Authentication record
  • All chat messages stored on our servers
  • Your connection history, likes, hearts, and compliment data
  • Your settings and preferences including block lists and Ghost Mode state
  • Any pending connection requests associated with your account

3. WHAT MAY BE RETAINED

  • If your account was reported by another user, a minimal record of that report may be retained for a limited period for safety and abuse-prevention purposes
  • Chat messages that exist in another user's local device cache may persist temporarily until that cache clears naturally; all server-side copies are deleted within 48 hours

4. PROFILE VISIBILITY AFTER REQUEST

Once you submit a deletion request, your profile is no longer visible to other users. The full data removal from Firebase is completed within 48 hours.

5. IRREVERSIBILITY

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data, connections, messages, and profile information will be unrecoverable. If you wish to use Near Bee again after deletion, you will need to register as a new user.

6. UNABLE TO ACCESS THE APP

If you cannot access the app to submit a deletion request, you may email us:

We will process your request within 48 hours of receiving it.
