B. Password & Authentication
Authentication is handled exclusively by Firebase Authentication (Google).
Passwords are securely transmitted using HTTPS encryption
Firebase stores passwords using industry-standard cryptographic hashing
We never have access to your actual password
Passwords are never stored on our servers or in our application

If you forget your password, use the "Forgot Password" option in the app. A secure password reset link will be sent to your registered email address. You may also update your password from within the app after signing in.

User Blocking
Users can block another user through the app interface.
If a user is blocked:
The blocked user's profile will no longer appear in nearby discovery or profile results
The blocked user cannot interact with you
The blocked user cannot send compliments
Blocking helps users control who can interact with them on the platform.

Users may report other users if they believe a profile violates:

You will no longer receive compliments from that user

When a compliment is reported:
The report is reviewed by the NearBee administration team
