1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the NearBee mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (the "Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

NearBee ("we", "our", "us", "Company") reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. User Eligibility & Registration

A. Age Requirement

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use NearBee (16+ in some jurisdictions).

  • Users under 18 require parental or guardian consent.

  • The App is not intended for children under 13.

B. Account Registration

By creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information

  • Maintain the confidentiality of your password

  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

  • Not impersonate any person or entity

C. Account Information

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your email address current

  • Monitoring your account for suspicious activity

  • Updating your profile information if it changes

  • Providing accurate social media profile links

D. One Account Per Person

  • Each person may have only one active account

  • Duplicate, fake, or spam accounts are prohibited

  • Accounts created for harassment, fraud, or abuse will be terminated

  • Violations may result in permanent bans

3. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities

A. Prohibited Content & Behavior

Users must not engage in:

Harassment & Abuse

  • Sending threats, hate speech, or abusive messages

  • Bullying, intimidating, or harassing other users

  • Sending unwanted sexual or explicit content

  • Stalking or doxxing other users

  • Impersonating others or creating fake profiles

Illegal Activities

  • Using the App for illegal purposes

  • Violating local, state, national, or international law

  • Selling, distributing, or promoting illegal items

  • Engaging in fraud, scams, or phishing

Spam & Exploitation

  • Sending unsolicited messages or commercial content

  • Promoting external websites or apps without permission

  • Collecting user data for unauthorized purposes

  • Using bots or automated tools

  • Multi-level marketing or pyramid schemes

Privacy Violations

  • Sharing other users' personal information without consent

  • Recording or sharing private messages

  • Publishing intimate images without consent

  • Collecting location data of other users

Intellectual Property Violations

  • Uploading copyrighted content without permission

  • Using others’ photos or content without attribution

  • Violating trademark or brand rights

Platform Abuse

  • Attempting to hack or compromise the App

  • Reverse engineering or decompiling the App

  • Introducing malware or viruses

  • Circumventing security measures

  • DDoS attacks or network disruption

B. Compliment Guidelines

  • Compliments must be respectful, genuine, and constructive

  • Cannot contain hate speech, sexual content, threats, phishing links, or personal identifiers

Blocking & Reporting Compliments

  • Users can block compliments from specific users

  • Blocked users cannot send further compliments

  • Reported compliments are reviewed by NearBee admins

  • Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent termination

Consequences for Violating Compliment Rules:

  • First violation: Warning

  • Second violation: Account suspension (7–30 days)

  • Third violation: Permanent account termination

  • Severe violations: Potential legal action

C. Profile Guidelines

Profile Photos Must:

  • Be appropriate for all ages

  • Not contain nudity, sexual content, hate symbols, or copyrighted material

Bio & Profile Information Must:

  • Be accurate and not misleading

  • Not contain external links, promotional content, or personal information of others without consent

  • Not contain hate speech or discriminatory language

4. Reporting & Enforcement

A. Reporting Violations

Users can report violations using the App's Report feature:

  • Tap the report button on a user's profile or compliment

  • Select report 

  • Near Bee team will take action.

B. User Blocking

  • Users can block other users  through the app

  • Blocked users cannot interact with you or send compliments

  • Blocked users’ profiles will not appear in your nearby discovery or search results

C. Our Response

  • Reports are reviewed by NearBee administration within 48 hours

  • Appropriate actions may include warnings, content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent termination

  • Reporter identities are not disclosed

D. Account Suspension & Termination

  • Temporary suspension: 7–30 days

  • Permanent termination for severe or repeated violations, illegal activity, harassment, threats, or content abuse

  • All account data deleted within 48 hours of termination

5. User-Generated Content

A. Ownership

You retain ownership of content you upload, including profile photos, bio info, compliments, and suggestions.

B. License Grant

By uploading content, you grant NearBee:

  • A worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, display, store, and back up your content

  • Right to use content for analytics and app improvement

  • Right to use aggregate or anonymized data

C. Content Removal

You may remove content by:

  • Updating profile photo. No delete option because profile is mandatory for app feature.

  • Editing your bio, name and city.

  • Deleting your account

D. Third-Party Content

  • NearBee is not responsible for user-generated content

  • Illegal or harmful content may be removed

  • Cooperation with law enforcement may occur for serious violations

E. Copyright & Intellectual Property

  • Users must not upload copyrighted material without permission

  • NearBee may remove infringing content and terminate repeat violators

6. Social Media Links & Integration

  • Users can link Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and LinkedIn

  • Links are displayed as clickable icons

  • NearBee does not access, store, or share your social media account data

  • Social media platforms’ Terms & Privacy Policies apply

7. Location Data & Privacy

  • Location is used only for nearby discovery while the app is active

  • Users may enable or disable location via device settings

  • NearBee does not track location in the background or share location with third parties

8. Push Notifications

  • Notifications require user consent

  • Users can manage or disable notifications in  device Settings

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind.

10. Limitation of Liability

NearBee is not liable for:

  • User-generated content or interactions

  • Loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities

  • Service interruptions or third-party content

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify NearBee for claims arising from:

  • Violation of these Terms

  • Use of the App

  • Your content, social media links, or interactions

13. Account Suspension & Termination

  • Temporary suspension: 7–30 days

  • Permanent termination: All account data deleted within 48 hours

  • Users can delete accounts anytime via Settings (48-hour recovery window)

15. Modifications to the App

  • Features may be modified, added, or removed

  • Paid or premium features may be introduced

16. Fees & Payment

  • The App is currently free

  • Future premium features will be clearly communicated

17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • Governed by the laws of [India/Telangana]

  • Disputes resolved via binding arbitration in [Hyderabad/Telangana]

  • Jury trial and class action rights are waived

18. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

  • Allow 30 days for informal resolution

  • Binding arbitration is final and confidential; class actions prohibited

19. Severability

Invalid provisions do not affect remaining provisions

20. Entire Agreement

  • These Terms + Privacy Policy = entire agreement

  • Terms prevail over Privacy Policy in case of conflict

21. No Waiver

Failure to enforce a provision does not waive it

Account Deletion – Near Bee Effective Date: March 13, 2026 Last Updated: March 13, 2026 Near Bee allows users to request deletion of their account and associated personal data at any time. How to Request Account Deletion Users can delete their account directly inside the Near Bee app by following these steps: Settings → Delete Account Once the deletion request is submitted, the account will be marked for deletion.
